    Chief Executive Officer
    Deirdre is the CEO of Wexford County Childcare Committee. Deirdre’s primary role is to ensure effective implementation of the company’s identified strategic goals, CRO legal compliance and organisational adherence to Charities Governance Code. Deirdre supports the team in the planning, implementation and management of national childcare policy and funding programmes at a local level on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY), in providing relevant information, training and support to ELC and SAC Services and parents.

    Anne is responsible for organising, supervising and co-ordinating office operations and procedures and all financial duties to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and funding compliance. Reporting to the CEO, she is responsible for the financial management of the company and compliance responsibilities. Anne also has oversight on Parent & Toddler Group admin including Parent & Toddler Grant, First Aid Responder and support on Learner Fund Bursaries.

    The Development Officers role overall is to provide information, support and advice on all aspects connected with the early years. A significant element of the role involves supporting the implementation and delivery of the national programmes and quality early years provision. The role also entails providing in-service training such as Child Protection, and Diversity Equality and Inclusion Training, mentoring support, and supporting general best practice in the sector.

    Information and Programmes Officer
    Mary is responsible for ensuring professional and up to date information on National programmes and quality objectives is provided to all stakeholders, via social media outlets and website maintenance. The role involves support engagement with Childminders in the County, through the delivery of aims and objectives of the National Childminding Action Plan. Mary is responsible for progressing WxCCC’s Local Implementation Plan (LIP) through delivery of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion training, reviewing service’s Fees Lists, processing Parent & Toddler grants and the organisation of AIM training events.
