Position: Graduate Lead Educator 

Location: Templeshannon Community & Childcare Centre, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford 

Salary: Competitive, with generous benefits package 

Hours: Full-time fixed term until the end of June 2025, 37.5 hours 8:30-16:30, Monday – Friday

The Role 

As Lead Educator, you’ll play a pivotal role in our preschool, leading your room with passion and purpose. You’ll inspire both the children and your team, ensuring every child receives exceptional care and learning opportunities tailored to their unique needs. 

 

What You’ll Do 

• Lead a team of enthusiastic early years educators to deliver engaging, high-quality activities. 

• Create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported. 

• Plan and implement a play-based curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity, and development. 

• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider Early Years team. 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of your room, implementing and maintaining the high standards as per our policies and procedures.  

• Support and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and positive atmosphere. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

• A Level 7 (or higher) in Early Years Education. 

• Proven experience in an early years setting, with leadership experience preferred. 

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and development. 

• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive and positive approach.
