Lollitots Community Childcare CLG is seeking an Assistant Manager for Maternity Leave cover. This is a full time (39 hour) position.

Essential Requirements:

·      A love and passion for working with children.

·      Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 7/8 preferred).

·      Minimum 3 years’ experience in Early Years Education role.

·      Strong leadership and team management skills.

·      Working knowledge of childcare regulations, funding schemes and ability to work with other agencies such as Tusla & Pobal.

·      Good knowledge of the Aistear Framework and Síolta Standards with an understanding of child-led/emergent curriculum and documentation.

·      Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

·      Commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and high-quality environment.

·      Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

The Role:

As part of a Management Team, you will (but not limited to):

·      Support the manager in the daily operations to deliver high-quality Early Years Education and Care.

·      Lead, mentor, and support staff in creating safe, nurturing environments.

·      Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices both in practice and implementing policies.

·      Collaborate with families, team members, and leadership teams.

·      Manage administrative tasks, including NCS & ECCE registrations and updates, enrolments, compliance checks and communications.

·      Work in a blended role of office based tasks and in ratio with children when required.
